Tetracycline (TC)-sensing bioreporters using green fluorescent protein (GFP) were
generated in Escherichia coli and solvent-tolerant Acinetobacter oleivorans. A TC-inducible
promoter, tetH promoter, and a TetR repressor of the pAST2 plasmid recovered from sludge
